Our Design Team provides ideas for any stage of your design process,
from the new construction or remodeling selection process to the final layer of accessorizing.
They listen carefully to their clients' desires and offer professional interior design advice that is both
creative and functional. In addition, our designers work in all styles whether contemporary, transitional, or traditional.
How We Work:
- You may call us during business hours to set up an in-store appointment with a designer to discuss your project and set up a Home Consultation.
- Your initial Home Consultation is $150 and includes a trip to your home to discuss your project further and to look at colors, style, and take measurements where necessary.
- When you purchase furnishings through Pomegranate Designs there is no additional charge.
- Or you may want the advice of one of our Designers without purchasing from us. If that is the case, you will be billed at a per-hour rate and asked to sign a contract for the other services.
- Other services would include making decisions about flooring, cabinetry, surfaces, lighting, etc. during new construction or remodeling, rearranging your existing furnishings and accessories, or just getting advice on any areas of the home you desire.
Meet Our Designers
Roxanne's design approach is to quickly discern her clients' style and effectively translate that style into updated color, fabrics, and furnishings- a design that is uniquely suited to that client.
Roxanne is the co-owner of Pomegranate Designs and enjoys all aspects of the Showroom operation, including buying, merchandising, and managing. She has an extensive background in reviewing blueprints, space planning, and materials selection for new construction and remodeling and has an excellent understanding of the design and construction process.
Roxanne's Design Tip
Have a master plan for each room and follow it to completion- too often a room is not done before moving on to the next and the next and the next- and before you know it, you have a home where no rooms are complete. Be patient and completely enjoy each room as it is finished!
Roxane has participated in The Luxury Home Tour, ASID Showcase Homes,
Parade of Homes, The Remodeler's Showcase Dream Home and the
Minnesota Governor's Residence Solarium Design for the 100th Anniversary.
Drawing from over 25 years of decorating, Diane's design approach is to bring a sense of ease in collaborating with her clients.
"I love to quickly pull together and transform rooms by simply changing paint color, rearranging a few pieces of furniture or accessories and then adding a few new fabrics, accessories and furnishings. The results are thrilling and rewarding for both parties. I value the importance of a beautifully designed, personalized, and efficient home and stay on project with my clients until the last detail is complete."
Diane's Design Tip
A room feels and looks comfortable when all of its elements are in balance. Visual weight can be equalized by the distribution and positioning of furniture, color, and texture.
Diane has participated in the Twin Cities Parade of Homes,
The Luxury Home Tour, ASID Showcase Homes, North Oaks Holiday Home Tours, and the Governor's Residence Home Tours.
She has been featured in Woodbury Magazine,
Minnesota Monthly, and Midwest Home.
Andrea brings to the table a variety of expertise and experience including custom kitchens and bathroom design as well as custom window treatments, textiles, and tile design. She has a keen eye for color and is passionate about bringing her vision of what a space could be to life with the right mixture of colors, textures, proportion and scale. She appreciates and respects all styles, whether traditional, modern, or transitional. Transitional is her specialty, however, she enjoys working on projects of any style.
Aside from skill and expertise, more importantly, she listens intently to what her clients want. It is important to her that their personality and style is what is reflected in her designs. She has an innate ability to sense a client’s taste and style. She believes that it is not a good design unless it functions well in addition to looking great. It is apparent to her clients that she is passionate about what she does and cares about them and their needs as well as the function and style of their home.
Andrea graduated from The Art Institutes International MN with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interior Design and assisted in developing designs for the ASID showcase home in 2008.
Andrea’s Design Tip: To create interest in your space, find ways to add character by customizing the little things. Use a mixture of light fixtures that still work together but aren’t necessarily a set. Add small touches to walls like wallpaper, and board and batten giving your home a custom feel, helping to bring your personality and style into your space.
Alexa's design approach is discovering new inspiration from her clients' visions and putting a timeless spin on their favorite trends that will feel fresh and current, yet still stand the test of time.
Alexa has studied Interior Design and Entertainment Business. Since building her first small business at age 14, her passion for design and merchandising has only grown. Whether it be working on space planning for multiple rooms or celebrating the triumph of finding the perfect gift for a friend, she values every customer's project, large or small.
Alexa's Design Tip: "I think many people don't give themselves enough credit when it comes to their true style and potential for creativity. The role of the designer is to help you see yourself in the reflection of your own sanctuary, and to guide you to make decisions that you can feel confident in. If you have something that you love or that has sentimental value, we can always make it work."
